PACM EiC Assessment Workflow

EiC Term Renewal:

1. The current EiC fills out the assessment questionnaire and sends it to the PACM Steering Committee (SC).
2. The PACM SC reviews the information and votes to approve or reject the renewal.
3. In certain situations, the PACM SC forwards the renewal to the Publications Board for review and eventual approval.

EiC Search:

1. The current EiC fills out the assessment questionnaire and sends it to the title Advisory Board.
2. The title Advisory Board (after internal discussion and conducting a search) puts forth a nomination to the PACM SC. The nomination must include:
   1. the EiC questionnaire; and
   2. the candidate’s vision statement and CV.
3. The PACM SC reviews the information and votes to approve or reject the nomination.
4. If approved, the PACM SC forwards the nomination to the Pubs Board leadership for review and eventual approval.
