Jingren Zhou is the Chief Technology Officer at Alibaba Cloud, where he drives technology innovation and product development across a wide range of cloud computing services. He also leads the development of AI foundation models, such as Qwen and Wan models, and their applications in diverse business applications within Alibaba Cloud. His lectures include "Building Foundation Models at Scale: System Experiences and Challenges." He received his PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University. He is a Fellow of ACM and IEEE.

The ACM Student Research Competition is an internationally recognized venue enabling undergraduate and graduate students to experience the research world, share research results and exchange ideas, rub shoulders with academic and industry luminaries, understand the practical applications of their research and gain recognition.

Sheelagh Carpendale is a Canada Research Chair and Professor at Simon Fraser University (SFU). At SFU, she directs the InnoVis (Innovations in Visualization) Research Group, and she co-founded and co-directs Interactive Experiences (ixLab). Carpendale was recently named an ACM Fellow for contributions to expanding the diversity of data comprehension through innovative interactive visualizations. Kwang-Ting (Tim) Cheng is the Vice-President for Research and Development and a Chair Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Cheng was recently recognized as an ACM Fellow for his contributions to design automation and software-hardware co-design of electronic circuits and computing systems. He is also a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and a Fellow of the School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo.
