Deadline Extended for ACM India Outstanding Applied Innovation in Computing (OAIC) Award 2025 to 30 Sept. 2025

Dear ACM Member,

Basis the requests we received for extending the submission deadline for the ACM India Outstanding Applied Innovation in Computing (OAIC) Award 2025 - the deadline is being extended by 2 weeks to 30 September, 2025. We hope this gives sufficient time for nominators to prepare comprehensive submission packages.

This prestigious award recognizes groundbreaking applied computing innovations that have created significant impact - whether in industry, society, or for the greater good.

Award Highlights

• ₹5 lakh cash prize for the winner, and ₹2 lakh each for up to two honorable mentions
• Recognition at the ACM India Annual Event 2026 (with travel support for finalists)
• Evaluation by a stellar award committee comprising eminent leaders from academia, research, and industry

Important Dates

• Nomination Deadline: 30 September 2025, 11:00 pm IST
• Winners Announced: 31 December 2025
